  1. Will be at Port Royal for Friday and Saturday of the Rumble by The River. Booked that hotel months ago when it was only supposed to be a 2 day show paying $50k to win. Now it's a 3 day show with a graduated payout. Still, two nights of Super Lates and getting to see TMac in a Late Model live for the first time in over a decade is pretty sweet.

  4. What exactly is so hard to not bring him into every single thread and discuss just like Luke said? Or wait can't do that, then we couldn't have the continual weiner stretching contest on who is right or wrong..

  5. I don't think you will see any type of specials based on no fans allowed. My team and I were discussing this after the announcement at the valley Saturday. On a typical Saturday event, no fans, the track doesn't really make anything on the modified classes. If I bring in even 6 people at the valley including myself, that gives the track $150 for the night for our team in entry revenue, minus any concessions which usually most of us do not consume (figure 200 for an even number). The start money at the valley is $300; so for the last paid cars in the modified class, they are paying out mor

  6. i've been told by promoters that in appreciation of a successful first season and since no other local tracks are running sprint cars, on September 18-20 Tri City Raceway Park in Franklin, Pa will be hosting a $5000 to win $400 to start 410 sprint race along with a lot of other divisions. They will be running a practice on Friday, heat races Saturday, features Sunday. The other divisions will include Big Block Modifieds ($4000 to win), 358 modifieds ($4000 to win), as well as crate sportsman modifieds, crate non wing sprint cars, pro stocks, and mini stocks. In order to make it feasible for the

  8. Camped there last year for this show, camp in the backstretch lot along the tree line. Pretty quiet there after races.

  9. They don't care who you are, if you have a flat or problem either get to infield or pits. They don't give courtesy laps or nothing.

  10. I have noticed from the IMCA Mod and Sports Mod races from all the different tracks on Floracing, they have a rule that if you are involved in a caution during the heats or B-main your are done for that particular heat or B-main. That seems to keep things moving.

  12. This coming Friday night at the 💎 its the annual Prelude To The Coal Cracker for the 358 modifieds, 40 laps $4000 to win, also on the card are the open sportsman modifieds, roadrunners and street stocks...Also there will be a FREE pig roast for the fans while supplies last, and once again 16yrs and younger get in FREE this Friday at Big Diamond...This years Prelude race WILL BE a points race with handicap for the modifieds, as the battle for the championship is just crazy right now between leader Mike Gular, CVD and Jeff Strunk, as the top spot seems to change weekly after a night of competiti

  13. I was told that a DIRT legal 358 with a big carb, standard ignition box, and big headers is relatively close to what the NJ/PA spec head motors put out.

  16. I don't understand the big deal about Columbus. He was just some dumb Italian who got lost, he had no clue where he was. North American was discovered a couple centuries before he was even born. Amazing how ridiculously wrong our grade school social studies books were.

  19. Lets try to keep it non-political and just to the facts......as best i can read it he technically should be doing the whole quarantine thing. He should be required to fill out the traveler health form each time he enters the state from Florida. But, there is a special exemption for professional athletes and sports teams. So I'd guess that he would actually fall under that guideline, which permits him to travel but he should be getting tested every time he comes back into NY. Is he flying commercial or private? Flying private into small airports gets you around a whole lot of things.

  20. Outside of 8-9 races in late models almost all of their races are 50 laps or less. Compare that with when Timmy was full-time in modifieds you could run 30+ 100 lap races and 4-5 200 laps races.

  23. Why is it so offensive to some to have a discussion about the ONE PERSON who makes the rules for millions of us? B-I-N-G-O C-U-O-M-O Aaaaaando Cuomo is name-o! Come on now, let’s all hold hands and follow along!
