  1. One of the best races I've ever seen. The last 20-30 laps were great racing. It used to be on YouTube at one point.
  2. My first hero in sports. May he rest in peace and suffer no more. My condolences to his family and friends.
  3. I believe the fastest a region can move through the reopening phases is in two week increments, so they quickest that they could get to phase 4 (which includes things like Fonda) would be like July 3 unless something changes. Again that's just my interpretation of the reopening plan.
  4. Correct on Cuomo. However, Pence is the leader of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, which um ... thought it Trumped (see what I did there) the states setting their reopening policies.
  5. Actually, this is the epitome of do as I say not as I do. This was in a hospital setting, not outdoors on some random street.
  6. 2012 Fonda season finale. Was supposed to meet my dad there. Got a flat on the way home from Maine, didn't want to go anymore but decided to go for the feature. Glad I did as it was the last race I ever went to with my dad.

  10. I think you avoid some of the fees at the window, but I know the Times Union has an arena fee to help pay for their renovation project that is ongoing.
  11. Nope but they have a few $5 lots not too far from the arena. It’s more at the arena’s parking garage. The same thing happened with arenacross tickets there. A $20 ticket goes to $30 plus with the fees. I’m not paying for a ticket and a half for one ticket.
  12. The fees are a bit much. I just checked on the Albany indoor tickets. With fees they went from $28 to $41 or from yes to no.
  13. SARATOGA SPRINGS — The lineup of speakers and interviewees for the Saratoga Automobile Museum’s annual Lost Speedways program, a look back at speedways and racing heroes of the past, has been finalized for 2017. Scheduled for its traditional “Saturday after Thanksgiving” date, the November 25th program will kick off with the annual memorabilia display at 11 am with the formal program set for 12:15 pm. “We’ll open with Ken Perrotte looking back 50 years at the amazing 1967 racing season,” said event organizer Ron Hedger, curator of SAM’s Racing in New York gallery. “He’ll recall the expl

  17. Here's the full release that is posted on the Glen Ridge website. As we struggle with low car counts and once again have been hit with 3 days of heavy rain we feel it best in everyone’s interest to suspend racing at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for Friday June 2, 2017. Look for an announcement this week for a possible change to the program at Glen Ridge as well. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us and still supports us. We hope to see everyone again next week at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park.
