  1. Sorry....shouldn't take 4 laps to get guys in line.
  2. 🤷‍♂️Thanks for clarifying... Again the problem wasn't the pit stops it was the amount of laps run under caution before put road was open!!!!!! Driver gets a flat and it's 4 laps before pit road is open and he can enter. Absolute joke and a waste of time and caution laps.
  3. Get rid of the pit stops? What would guys do if they get a flat? Maybe I'm confused. What is your definition of a live pit stop?
  4. Open the damn pits earlier!!!!! Problem solved!!!!! Absolutely no reason to run 3-4 caution laps before opening the pits!!!!! It was a joke and an absolute waste of time and laps!!!!!

He ran a heckuva race....was fun to watch early on.
  6. One easy fix....open pit road sooner!!!!!
  7. I'd say the average is much higher, they only count 4 caution laps. Takes 3-4 laps every yellow before they even open the pits. Brutal.
  8. Per Matt's fan page..... We are not racing any of the satalite shows. We will only be racing at Oswego with the big block and Afton for the STSS.
  9. From the promoters of Five Mile Point this year FOR RELEASE: October 4, 2019 THE 2019 RACING SEASON AT FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY HAS CONCLUDED; DICK LONGSTREET MEMORIAL WILL NOT BE HELD AT THE SPEEDWAY Because of circumstances out of track management’s control, the Dick Longstreet Memorial Race will not be held at Five Mile Point Speedway on October 10th as originally planned. We apologize to our fans, drivers and the Longstreet family for the unexpected cancellation. The cancellation brings to the conclusion a highly successful first year by the 3T Motorsports promotional team of Tyler, Tanner and Tucker Harpell, the Great Grandsons of track founders Irv and Anna Heath. The rookie Promoters were thrilled with the way the season went and were very excited about this race as well as carrying the momentum of their successful 2019 season into 2020, the 70th year of the speedway. “Sadly as a result of actions by the landlord, our Uncle, we have been unable to complete the season as planned. We were hoping that this matter could be resolved amicably but communication with our Uncle has been cut off and as a result we have been unable to complete the preparations to hold the race honoring Mr. Longstreet. Full details will follow in the future”. The three Harpell brothers were praised throughout the year for their professionalism, as well as the respect they showed to the drivers, fans and sponsors. Their efforts were a breath of fresh air as they brought the speedway back to prominence in their first year. Had they not stepped up to run the track there was a high probability that it might not have opened in 2019. Their efforts kept their Great Grandparents dream alive for another year and they should be proud of what they accomplished. They met all of their obligations, paid their rent in full, paid all of the drivers, track workers, vendors and all utilities and finished the year with a profit. It is a huge disappointment that they have been prevented from moving forward with their efforts. A complete statement from 3T Motorsports will be released once this issue has been resolved. Information on the season ending banquet will be released when the details are complete. Because they are currently blocked from the track Facebook page, please go to the new 3T Motorsports Facebook page for updates and further information.
  10. Is NYS still providing funding for SDW at Oswego? If so does anyone know how long that is in place for?
  11. I thought you weren't going?!?!?!
  12. Do I need to reply to your post in the other topic or will this be good enough...lol The rain absolutely helped the surface and I agree I don't think anyone planned on running 200 laps on a set. I'm also glad they waited the rain out and finished the event Saturday night!!!! When's the 2020 Opener?!?!
  13. You go from tire wear to concession issues?!?!
  14. No where near what people preached leading up to the race. Any event is going to have flat tires. According to some on this board and other outlets we were told teams would need to make multiple stops to be competitive.
  15. It's not all about you and the village....😉

    Fonda 200

    Isn't that the truth....lol
  17. And if the race was rained out with 75 laps left....people would complain about that.
  18. I thought this was a great idea!!!!! Fonda has run an efficient program all year. As I've said before I'm sure Brett will look at everything that happened and adjust as he feels necessary. I for one hope to see this weekend return again next year!!!!!! In my opinion there were plenty of positives this weekend that aren't posted.

    Fonda 200

Here is a post from the Matt Sheppard Fan Page on Facebook.... Last night at Fonda we had a awesome finish to find out we were light at the end of the 200 laps. It was our mistake no excuses and we will move on to the next race. Thanks to my crew for all the hard work and fans for supporting us. See you at the Outlaw 200.🏁 Classy post in my opinion.
  20. How many of those who crossed July 3rd were with the Fuccillo Sponsorship group that night? Last night was a different animal than what Fonda has had all year. Things happen.... It's something I'm sure Brett will take a look at.

Anyone know why only 22 sprints showed for $3k to win?!?! Motors, tires, etc keep those 360 guys away?
  22. Good Luck to all teams competing at Fonda Speedway this weekend!!!!!! Looking forward to a great weekend of racing with family and friends!!!!!!
  23. It was WILD!!!!!! RJ looked like he had 1st and 2nd place money that day.....
  24. No..... Varin ended up with the W because he ran out first. Wild night..... https://nemodfacts.racestatcentral.com/resultspressrelease.php?id=9295
