99% sure that I read on FB that Ryan Bernal won't be running, nor will T-Mez.

Ryan Bernal isn't running, he's attending a Fireman's Academy, missing first half of 2016.

Thomas Meseraull isn't running either, he's racing in Australia. I'm bummed about this one, I was planning on picking up a T-Mez Tee for myself.

Sort of related, I saw this morning the pits are so full for the Shootout that anyone arriving now is going to have to unload their trailer inside and park the trailer outside.  They have 1,091 cars entered so far for the event!!

Yes, I saw that too. They always expect 100-150 entrants that didn't pre-register, that show up for Move-In Day. So don't be surprised if they end up with 1100-1200 Entrants when it's all said & done. Now one thing to keep in mind with the total Entrants, many of the entrants will run more than 1 class with the same car. There aren't 1100 cars or drivers.

This was the current Entry Count by Class as of Sunday:
Non-Wing ”A” Class – 239
Non-Wing Outlaw – 235
Winged Outlaw – 193
Winged “A” Class – 191
Restricted “A” Class – 98
Junior Sprints – 57
1,200cc Non Wing – 32
1,200cc Winged – 27
ECOtec Midgets - 26

Rocky Warner is on his way to the Tulsa Expo Raceway for the first time, as we speak. He headed out to the Shootout with his friend, Shilo Boyce, who is competing in the ECOtec Midget Class this weekend. It all starts with Heat Races tomorrow night around 6:00PM or so, live on RacinBoys PPV. Can't wait!

Jumper, is an Ecotec midget just a full size midget with a Chevy Ecotec motor in it? So basically the Ford Focus midget class but with a Chevy?

Yeah I know, there are a bunch of guys I race micros with out there now.  One of them isn't there yet so he's going to be stuck dumping out his trailer and parking outside and he's pretty grouchy about it, haha.  He actually has my old car with him for the wing class.  Going to be a crazy event as usual!

Pretty sure Rocky is still waiting for plane to there due to weather conditions.

Thanks Jumper, never heard of that as a division before although I know that in theory you can run the 2.4 Ecotec with NEMA but I can't imagine anyone is given what it would give up to the better engine packages. I'm pretty sure they don't allow these in the NEMA lite class, though.

Their plane was delayed last night in Chicago, so they rented a car & started driving to Tulsa from Chicago last night.
