SuperDIRTseries 2017 schedule taking shape

Recommended Posts

I believe I've seen three SDS dates so far out there in tentative track schedules released.

June 20th - Outlaw

July 6th - Airborne

July 20th - Sharon

Two new tracks into the fold already! Sharon makes it look good that Eldora is likely back on the schedule for 2017.

Anyone know any other dates yet?

I would assume Eldora is definetly on again. 7/18 for SDS and 7/19 for the trucks.  I renewed my seats back  in  October.

Deadline for previous customers to renew was November 20.

November 28-29-30(today) are add and exchange days for existing customers to upgrade or get additional tickets/campsites.

December 3rd  tickets are open to all.

I was hoping they would have done something different with Eldora. I went to both last year and was not thrilled with Sharon, and have zero interest in returning there. Was in hopes of possibly a Lernerville instead of Sharon.

Canandaigua made a facebook post this morning listing the Jan Corcoran Memorial on June 29th with the ESS sprints but didn't indicate it being a Super DIRT Series race like it has been the last two years.

Volusia has never been point shows for the SDS. That trip isn't about points, it's about getting out of the Northeast for a few days & getting to race.

volusia is the best idea of vacation...out of the snow and into the racecar

I think last year was an exemption. Temperatures dropped below 40 I believe.

This past February in Volusia was warmer than 2015

The Outlaws are there on May 21st, May 29th Utica-Rome does not run but that is Memorial Day.  We do run that Sunday with ESS and Mods. I've reached out to Jimmy Phelps to confirm dates etc.

CMP.....Grandview...?

CMP is rumored to be leaving DIRTcar at this point which explains no date. Should they join, I would imagine the June 29th Jan Corcoran memorial/ESS doubleheader would be turned into a SDS date as it has been the last two years.
