I'm going on Saturday.  If by some chance a non-pro driver wins it, I wanna be there to see it.

That's my thought also........ I'm hoping that BK Speed get's the $$$$, or at least some of it.

Reminds me of when I went to an early $50,000 to win Kings Royal at Eldora, and a young Donnie Krietz.... Donnie who ???....won it.

well i would pay 65$ to see Brian Krummel win. But if he did i don,t think anyone would say, Brian who he has proved himself to be a winner.

Well I hope OCFS reads some of this and adjusts some of the pricing. And I have  to wonder what Eastern States will be like.

If business owners listen to non business owners (fans) they'd be out of business...

For all I know you own a business, but i highly doubt its a dirt modified track.

i'd like to have a dollar for every business that closed up because their prices were to high. Henry For proved that ,he never listen to other business man only his customers. 65.00 for 1, 160 lap race is over priced  no matter how you try to spin it. especially at  ocfs you can,t see the race infield blocks view with haulers, do you realize that you could buy a seat for the indy 500 and see better then at   ocfs.

If fans don't care about purses why do races like DIRT Week or the Knoxville Nationals or the King's Royal or any number of other races get the biggest crowds?

Why was the crowd for the $50,000 race at Grandview absolutely insane?

Fan don’t go to the Knoxville Nationals because it pays $150k to win.  They go because it’s the freaking Knoxville Nationals!!

i ever once went to SDW because they are paying $50k to win.  I go because it’s the super bowl for us dirt fans.

Yes more fans go to the Crown Jewels of racing.  But to say most go because what it pays to win isn’t true.

Crap look at Malta.  They absolutely pack the place everyweek, and they have the worst payouts in the area.  Going by that logic the place should be half empty on Friday nights and Fonda should be the packed house.

The grandstands are like 3 times taller at Indy than OCFS, so not the best comparo. Also if you sit up high in the stand at OCFS, you get a view of 90% of the track.

The Outlaws raced Knoxville last week, What do you suppose it is that makes the four days they are there in August more special and attracts more teams and fans than other run of the mill Knoxville WoO shows?

So if you don't want to pay $65.00 to see a history making one off race........you can shell out $119.00 to see Tim MaGraw at the same place.  Is anybody complaining about that.

No offense, but Deyo just pooped on OCFS and their pricing for reserved seating and three day ticket price special of $62 bucks.  Yes its not 100k but its 53k to win.  Plus the other two nights he giving you two free days of racing for one $65 day at ocfs.  OH should I mention kids under 11 are free HAHA.

Yes its June 21st and June 22nd special only but I can't see his pricing going through the roof after that either.  Well played Mr Deyo way to double down on the fire of OCFS lol.  I know it wasn't his intention but it sure looks like crap for ocfs LOL

Didn't see it answered. If both the covered and half covered are all reserved, where exactly is GA seating?

I'm not going to buy a reserved ticket because of scheduling possibilities that might mean I couldn't make a Sunday rain date so I wanted to get there SUPER early and buy tickets at the gate.

ya but you will pay 65.00 if you can get up there and he took 5 rows away for the 400$ tables and by the way Indy pays millions out in prize money . General admission will be turns 1 and 4 and you won,t see sh-t for 60$ so say what you will this new group that took over is starting to fleece the patrons of the speedway.

Save your money this show is nothing but high priced hype. Guaranteed the race will not be that great. No matter what they do OCFS will always be a Dump compared to Bridgeport or New egypt.

Just. Don't. Go.

It will be fine without you and your negativity.

The prices are what they are.

Deyo's prices are what they are.

You have a choice.

This is the largest winning payout in dirt modified history and a historic event for this kind of racing and people are complaining that $65 is too much.  Okay.  All I can say, is a lot of people don't get out too much.  Does anyone have any idea how much a crappy seat for a run-of-the-mill concert costs or a regular season MLB or even college basketball or football game? Not to mention the prices for food, drink, parking, t-shirts, etc.   The biggest stars in modified racing will be there on a Summer Saturday.   If that isn't something that you're interested in then I would question how much you really like modified racing.  And of course, that's your right.  But as a fan, if someone is trying to actually make our kind of racing an event I think they should be praised not lambasted.

Those ticket prices are insane. Shaking a reputation as a price gouging track is impossible once you set that bar.

And I’ve never seen a price gouging track change their ways. I’ve just seen their crowds dwindle.

Run this race at a first class facility were you will be able to see the whole track with nothing obstructing your view then maybe you can charge those prices.
