MILL HALL, PA – This Friday night September 22nd, Clinton County Motor Speedway will stage on of the biggest Limited Late Model races of the season, with the winner of the 25-lap feature collecting $1,500 for the win. With the help of sponsorship from Strouse Electric, G&R Excavating and Demolition, S&R Repair, and Robinson Septic Service, the entire purse has been increased for this event. Second place will pay $1,000 with $750 for third and $125 to take the green; also lap money and bonus will be handed out on Friday night.
Mike Smith of Renovo, picked up his very first limited late model title last Friday night, just edging JR Toner, those two and a solid host of regulars will be doing battle with some of the best limited late model drivers in the region. In two Mason-Dixon series races held at CCMS, JR Toner of Bellefonte, Pa. picked up the win on June 2nd while series regular Dillon Stake of Three-Springs Pa. got the win. A good mix of locals and regular should make for a solid night of racing, you won’t want to miss.
Drivers will draw for they’re starting positions for heats and redraw for the feature. Pro-Stocks, 270 and 600 Micro-Sprints, and FWD Four-Cylinders will also be in action. Gates will open at 5pm. with warm-up at 7pm. and racing at 7:30pm.
