THOROLD, ONT – Race Fans and Race Teams can purchase Tickets at Merrittville Speedway … Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5:00 PM for the Saturday November 25th Stock Car and Sunday afternoon November 26th Kart Events.

A perfect opportunity to get your tickets would be Saturday October 14th at the Swap Meet in the Speedway’s Pit Area from 8 to 3 PM. Racers can browse for spare parts and can bring along their own to sell. “Drivers in our Saturday Night Mini-Series Events and overall Top 12 that are eligible for point fund monies and special awards are required to be in attendance,” reminds (Merrittville owner) Don Spiece, “it’s a great night out for their families … crew members and even our fans.”

Before the party starts to celebrate the close of the 66th Season, Point Fund Monies for each of the Top 12 Member Drivers in each of the Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series Divisions – the Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modifieds, S&W Sevice Centre Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Wood Motor Company Modified Lites and the Central Fabricating & Welding 4 Cylinders will be awarded.

Three Mini-Series will have the top 3 Drivers honored in the Tomaski Racing Triple Crown Series for the 4 Cylinders, the David Chevrolet King of the Crates Series for the Sportsman Division and Eataly Foods Pro 4 Triple Truck Challenge by Tomaski Racing.

Special Awards will include the Lucas Oil Slick Mist Best Appearing Car Awards, the Begolo-Little Award for most improved Driver, the Ed MacPherson Construction Kelly-Winger Sportsmanship Award, the Billy Matthews Crew Chief of the Year Award, the Pete Cosco Car Owner of the Year Award, the Performer of the Year and the Archer Truck Services Driver of the Year.

The 66th Awards Dinner and Dance will open at Club Castropignano at 4:30 with Dinner Served at 6 PM – Tickets are $42 per person.

Sunday November 26th at the same facility, the 24th Season of Tuesday Night Kart Racing will be celebrated beginning at 1 PM.
Performance Manufacturing Divisional and Special Awards will be presented to racers in the RCM Racing Equipment LO206 Junior 1, Quick Ink Custom Screen Printing LO206 Junior 2, Superior PetroFuels LO206 Junior Restricted Division and the Southern Ontario Modified Lite Racing Association Senior Animal Divisions while Drivers in the Designed Wright St. Catharines Discount Auto Parts Wilder Racing
Tickets for the Kart Awards Luncheon are $20.00 each.
