SALINA, OK – The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series visits Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Okla., for the fifth consecutive year on Saturday, October 21 for the Twister Showdown. The event will mark the series only visit of the season to Oklahoma, marking the 35th different year in which the series has visited the state, dating back to 1978. Daryn Pittman, an Oklahoma native, is the defending race winner at Salina. Shane Stewart, who was born and raised in nearby Bixby, won at Salina in 2015. The last four World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series races at the ultra-high-banked, three-eighths-mile have seen four different winners. This edition of By the Numbers sets the stage for the 2017 Twister Showdown at Salina Highbanks Speedway.
