DELEVAN, NY -The Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds return to Freedom Motorsports Park this Friday. Joining the Outlaw Modifieds on Bellinger Electric Night will be the Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman in a special Bellinger Electric Lightning Sportsman Series $1000 to win race along with the Cummings Trucking Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Mini Stocks. The green flag is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Friday July 6.
The Lightning Series was created by Brian Bellinger, driver of the 7B DIRTcar Sportsman and long time dirt racer. Two time defending track champion Brad Rouse of St. Catherines, Ontario has been the hottest driver at Freedom in 2018 with four victories in five races. Rookie of the Year candidate Josh Wilcox of Frankinville was able to stop the win streak of Rouse last week to become only the second Sportsman winner of the year. This duo along with top five point men Kyle Inman of Darien, Adam Leslie of Port Colborne, Ontario, Austyn Fugle of Livonia and Brian Bellinger of East Concord will look to keep the big winners share in the home track favorite’s pocket.
In the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds, Billy Van Pelt of Westfield, Pennsylvania, is now the leading winner in the Outlaw Modifieds and took over the point lead. Phil Vigneri III of Elba continued his string of top five finishes and has moved into second in the standings
Don’t forget, Friday, July 13, will be the second appearance of the ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models as they compete in the Pete Loretto Memorial race brought to you by Yorkshire Battery.
Bring the family out for a great night of racing at the area’s fastest 1/3 mile clay oval. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission is only $14, $13 for Seniors, $7 for Students (9-15) and kids under 8 are admitted free.
