King of the Hill Championship Night at Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday August 31

DELEVAN, NY -. The Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds return for the fourth annual Budweiser King of the Hill Championship Night at Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday, August 31. The Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modified, Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman, Cummings Trucking Street Stock and the Danny Heineman & Sons Plumbing Mini Stock crowns are all up for grabs on the final regular racing program of the year. The green flag is scheduled for 7:30 pm on Friday, August 31.

Last Friday’s show was unfortunately cut short before qualifying was completed due to a lighting problem. Since qualifying was not completed, the show is considered cancelled. All grandstand tickets and pit wristbands from August 24 can be used for free admission to this week’s full show.

Budweiser is the King of Beers and is proudly brewed in twelve cities across the United States. Many Budweiser products are available at the Freedom Checkered Flag Food Court including Bud, Bud Lite, Busch and Busch Lite.

Championship night will award double points in both heats and features on August 31. The maximum amount of points that a driver can earn on championship night is 144. A heat race will award 24 points to the winner and the first driver across the checkered flag in a feature earns 120 points.

In the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds, there are four drivers in the hunt for the track championship. Billy Van Pelt leads Phil Vigneri III by 60, defending champion Adam Hilton by 122 and Dillon Groover by 143.

Defending Dialed Designs DIRTcar Sportsman track champion Brad Rouse is looking to pick up his third title in a row. His advantage over Kyle Inman is 45, Austyn Fugle is 94 points in arrears and Josh Wilcox is 126 points back.

The Cummings Trucking Street Stocks have the most drivers eligible to take the title. Bill Taylor leads Joe Chamberlain by 49, Bill Demick by 52, defending champion Dennis Cummings by 53 and Ted Mascho by 119.

Four drivers have a shot at the title in the Danny Heineman & Sons Plumbing Mini Stocks. The closest battle has Matt Mowery with a slim 2 point lead over Duane Powers while defending title holder Holden Heineman is 35 back and Dylan Strade is 135 from the lead.

Big Dog Saturday II will return on Saturday, September 15. The ULMS Murphy’s Logging Super Late Models will make their final appearance of the year and will be joined by the Prime Time Energy Services Outlaw Modifieds, Cummings Trucking Street Stocks and the Danny Heineman & Sons Plumbing Mini Stocks.

Bring the family out for a great night of racing at the area’s fastest 1/3 mile clay oval. Grandstands open at 6:00 pm and racing starts at 7:30. Adult grandstand admission is only $14, $13 for Seniors, $7 for Students (9-15) and kids under 8 are admitted free.
