RANSOMVILLE, NY – Labor Day Weekend is upon us at the Ransomville Speedway as WGR 550, Salerno Snowplowing, Certo Brothers, Snyder Industries, and VanDeMark Chemicals will present the racing program scheduled for Friday, August 31. It is also Team Spirit Night, so fans are encouraged to make signs and show support for their favorite driver. To cap off the night, the Labor Day Smashtacular Demolition Derby will take place.
The racing action will also feature the final points nights for the Krown Undercoating Modifieds and Investors Service Sportsman. Erick Rudolph and Brett Senek are looking for the points titles in the Modifieds and Sportsman respectively.
The Labor Day Smashtacular Demolition Derby pays $1000 to win. Rules are similar to the rules package at the Erie County Fair Demolition Derby. Registration is $40 until Wednesday, August 29. Pit gates will open at 5, with grandstands at 6, and showtime is at 7:15 pm! Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, children 8-12 are $8 and kids 8 and under are admitted FREE! Pit admission is $27 for members and $32 for non-members.
