Brockville Speedway’s Highly Anticipated Bullringer 110 — Just Weeks Away

By DON SIMPSON

BROCKVILLE, ONT – In a matter of weeks, the first annual Bullringer 110, with $10,000 prize money, will be run in conjunction with the Brockville Speedway’s Loud & Dirty Fall Nationals on Saturday, October 13. The Brockville Speedway will come alive with some of the best DIRTcar 358 drivers in the Northeast.

This will be the second attempt to run the Bullringer 110 as the race scheduled earlier this year but was unfortunately rained out. For the track owner Paul Kirkland, it only made sense to reschedule the race to be run during the Fall Nationals, making the year’s Nationals even more exciting.

The Bullringer 110 is a collaboration between Paul Kirkland the track owner and a close friend who reminisced about the old days and the” Pabst Shootout” from the 80s. They remembered how successful this race was and the popularity with fans. Paul explained, “We had discussed bringing a similar type of race to the Bullring for the last couple of years and so this year I finally decided to make it a reality.”

With the Bullringer 110 now a key part of the Brockville Speedway’s Loud & Dirty Fall Nationals is sure to entice drivers such as Danny Johnson, Mat Williamson, and Stewart Friesen along with local hero Danny O’Brien, and last years 358 Modified track champion and Northeast Fall Nationals winner Luke Whitteker to take the call in trying to take home the $10,000 prize.

With the big-block Super DIRTcar series scheduled to race the night before on Friday, October 12, at the Nationals, this should lure some of the biggest names in the sport to stay over and race 110.

With everything in place, the Brockville Speedway will host the inaugural RTD Trailers’ Bullringer 110 as the final event of the Fall Nationals weekend.

This one race is sure to be one of the best of the season and will also crown the winner of the Brockville Speedway Ogilvie’s series and typically crowns the DIRTcar 358 series champion as-well. Paul explains, “this is the biggest 358 race in the history of the BOS and is surely going to attract some of the best drivers who will put on a spectacular race for the fans.”

Mark your calendar for October 12 and 13 for the Loud & Dirty Brockville Speedway’s Fall Nationals with the premiere of the Bullringer 110, presented by RTD Trailers, along with the Big Block Super DIRTcar Series and the 360 Sprint cars — a weekend packed with racing.
