ORLANDO, FL – Former Nascar Truck series winner and 2012 rookie of the year Joey Coulter and C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. will return to sponsor the kids club at the Afton Motorsports Park. Rick Bristol who is president of C.A.R.S. grew up in the Afton area as a kid and enjoys giving back to his hometown area. Joey and Rick sponsored a race event two years ago, then stepped up to sponsor the kids club last year. They visited the track two years ago together, then Rick attended last season and spent time with the kids.
Joey who is racing his second year on the World of Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series had this to say ” I am excited to work together with Rick again this season to sponsor the kids club. We feel it is important as they are the future of our favorite sport and we need to give them things to get and keep them interested in racing. My schedule on the WOO series will keep me from being able to visit as we will race 60 or more events this year, but I enjoyed so much the visit two years ago, and really like the speedway. I wish the new management success and I am glad to be able to help.”
” Joey and I are glad to be able to once again help sponsor the kids club, It will be called the Joey Coulter Kids Club. Our efforts are to bring awareness to our charity foundation C.A.R.S. Racing for a Cause Inc. that assists children and families facing serious and terminal illness. This is our 12th and final year, to date we have been able to help in some way 30 families and have distributed over $275,000.00 to help with medical bills and other needs. I hope to work out a date I can make it there this year, I will be coming to NY 3 times already scheduled, we will see if I combine any date to attend. We will send up autographed photo cards for the kids and also some color pages and other possible items. We hope the kids club will grow and make things fun for the kids” stated Bristol.
Ronnie Ford and Leon Andrus are so glad to have the Kids Club back under the banner of Joey Coulter and to help bring awareness to the great charity foundation known as C.A.R.S. When the date is secured for the raffle and helmet pass night as mentioned below we will let you know and ask you to give as much as possible as he benefits the children.
