Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Supporting Fellow Drivers

AMSTERDAM,NY – This weekend will find the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour. where you ask ? On Tour, of course. Even though the DMNT will be on their Southern tier swing, they will still have a presence at the Fonda Speedway, on Saturday, June 15 as they help support the 5th. Annual Bill (Ag) Anagnostopulos Modified Elimination Race.

For the second year in a row the DMNT will donate $100. to the final driver chosen for this thrilling event. With the luck of the draw one driver could possibly go on to capture a nice pay out.

In 2018 Jimmy Davis was the lucky recipient of the DMNT bonus. Jimmy is not competing in 2019, so it will definitely be someone new. Drivers eligible this year include, Josh Hohenforst, David Schilling, Craig Hanson, Brian Gleason, and Mike Maresca.

Sunday, June 16, the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park will conduct a Match Race for the top 4 in their 602 crate modified division. As part of that program the DMNT will donate $100. to the winner of the 4 lap-4 car dash. Drivers listed to compete in the Jason A.Morrison Memorial Tribute include Rocky Warner, Andrew Buff, Joe Orlando, and Ryan Heath.
Sunday, June 23rd. the Utica-Rome Speedway will host the Cole Cup, Powered by Donath Motor Worx. This event is for the 360 winged sprint cars and is the first 50 lap sprint feature to be held at U-R. The DMNT will sponsor lap 23 for the big event.

In two weeks the DMNT will take it’s first trip to the North country in 2019, but again there will be support for their fellow drivers. Fonda Speedway will host the much anticipated 14th. Annual Hondo Classic for the pro-stock division, which takes place on Saturday, June 29. The DMNT for the second year in a row will provide every driver who attempts to qualify for this memorable event a $5. cash refund, as a Thank You, for supporting Kelley and Kaitlyn Keefe and the Friends of Hondo Memorial Society.




The month of July will see the Fonda Speedway host it’s first Short Track Super Series race, on Wednesday, July 3rd., when they present the Fire Cracker 50, with a $10,000. prize for the modified feature winner. DMNT is supporting lap 23 with a $100. donation.
The DMNT will be on tour at Penn Can Speedway, Friday, June 14, Five Mile Point Speedway, Saturday, June 15, Utica-Rome Speedway, Sunday, June 15, and will end the month of June at the Airborne Speedway on June 29.
