DIRTcar 358-Modified Series this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway

CORNWALL, ONT – The DIRTcar 358-Modified Series will be in town this coming Sunday and the 100-lap event should attract the best car count in the modified division so far this season with $4,000 to win on the line. A complete race program is also schedule for Sportsman, Pro-Stock and Mini-Stock.

The new calendar and national format of the DIRTcar 358-Modified Series seems to have created some attraction coming from several new faces wanting to follow the tour, expectations are beyond 20 invaders in town that would include series regulars such as Dave Marcucilli, Bobby Herrington, Michael Parent, Ron Davies, Ryan Arbuthnot, Jordan McCreadie, Chad Brachmann, Steve Bernier, Tim Sears, Tyler Meeks, Lance Willix and Tyler Bartlett along with other names such as Mat Williamson, Erick Rudolph, Tim Fuller, Danny Johnson, Mike Mahaney, Steve Bernard, Yan Bussiere, Luke Whitteker and a few more expecting to be added.

Our current point’s leaders in the Loud and Dirty Division, Corey Wheeler and Kyle Dingwall will want to perform well as they intend to follow the whole series as well. You cannot count out our latest winner and 4-time track champion Carey Terrance, Brian McDonald, Chris Raabe, Mario Clair, Joey Ladouceur, Louie Jackson, JF Corriveau, David Hebert, Marc Therrien, Lee Ladouceur, Kevin Hamel, Kayle Robidoux, Dany Gagne, Tristan Draper are amongst the local contigent to make a bid for the win.

The Next Level Home Improvement Sportsman with 25 laps, the Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock with 25 laps and the Tracy Wheeler Assist2Sell Mini-Stock for 15 laps are also on the card.

The pit gates will open at 3pm to welcome the drivers, the admission cost will be $35. In general admission, doors will open at 5pm with a price of $25 for adults, $15 for senior 65 years plus and kids 16 years and under, it will cost $2 to access the grandstands. Time trials are scheduled for 6pm and heat races will start at 6:30pm.
