Perrego Powers To Two Feature Wins In One Night At Orange County

MIDDLETOWN, NY – Anthony Perrego claimed both 358 modified main events on Saturday night at the Orange County Fair Speedway.

In the first feature, Perrego used his front row starting position to his advantage and jumped out to the early lead over Billy VanInwegn.  From there he never looked back, taking the checkered flag over VanInwegen.  Brian Krummel finished in third, with Craig Mitchell and Jerry Higbie rounding out the top five.

In victory lane, the 10 pill was drawn in the inversion, meaning that Allison Ricci would lead the field to the green flag in the second feature, and Perrego would have to start 10th.

In the second feature, it took Perrego only 15 laps to race his way from the 10th position to the lead over Brett Hearn.  Hearn was able to hold on for second, with Allison Ricci, Mike Gular and Jerry Higbie completing the top five in the nightcap.
