Lebanon Valley Speedway Driver Brandon Pitcher Dies In ATV Accident

Brandon Pitcher, driver of the Pitcher Motorsports #17 Small Block Modified, passed away Saturday July 27th after an ATV accident in Chatham, NY.

As soon as people became aware of the news of Brandon’s passing social media has been abuzz with fond memories of a driver who was passionate for the sport of racing , a driver who was remembered as always running a clean race, always hard at work on his car, and a friend to drivers and teams all throughout the pits at Lebanon Valley.

Lebanon Valley Speedway remembered Brandon in a post that read “It is a truly sad day in the Lebanon Valley Racing Community as we have to say goodbye to one of our young competitors.  Brandon Pitcher was a remarkable young man who was full of life, love and laughter.  He was an amazing Son, Father, Friend and Competitor.”

Brandon is survived by his high school sweetheart and best friend Brittany Cornelius, the couple has a son Wyatt and are expecting a second child this January.  Brandon is also survived by his father and fellow racer Rob Pitcher and mother Lynette.
