Dirt Track Digest had two photographers covering all the action for the 2019 edition of the Knoxville Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway.  Brent Smith and Jeff Ferguson (Sasquatch Racing Photos) were able to capture some amazing photos from the four night event for the 410 Sprint Cars.

Here is a look back through the lens at the 59th running of the historic event at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Iowa.

Wednesday Night – 8/7/19

Cars were ready to get things going Wednesday night with perennial favorite Donny Schatz in the pits.
Danny Lasoski sending a text as he awaits hot laps at Knoxville.
Sammy Swindell had issues in hot laps with a leaking oil line.
Donny Schatz was forced to change motors after his heat race. His night did not go as it usually does.
Paul McMahan passes Chase Johnson and keeps Ian Madsen behind him in the heat race. He’d go on to make Saturday night’s A-Main.
Zach Hampton became the first flip victim of the week as he crashed in the C-Main. He wasn’t hurt.
Trey Starks captured the win for his first ever Knoxville Raceway victory.

Thursday Night – 8/8/19

Brian Brown is always a fan favorite at Knoxville. He straps in here for a long night of racing on Thursday.
RJ Johnson showing some smoke during hot laps.
Shane Stewart set quick time, only to have this crash end his night in the heat race. Thankfully he wasn’t injured.
The B-Main has some stout cars all looking to make the A-Main.
Four-Wide salute to the fans to start the A-Main.
David Gravel went on to win Thursday night’s A-Main.

Friday Night – 8/9/19

Jake Bubak gets some heat in the engine as the field gets ready for another shot at making Saturday night’s A-Main.
Logan Schuchart hoping to make it three years in a row that he makes the A-Main from Friday night’s program.
Danny Dietrich did not have a good night. He cut down a tire entering turn three causing him to slam the wall hard.
Dietrich would end up rolling multiple times while getting entangled in sponsorship banners on the wall.
Four-wide in front of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.
Spencer Bayston battles with Tyler Courtney for position. Bayston finished one spot out of making Saturday’s A-Main.
Kerry Madsen earned his spot into Saturday with a win.


Saturday Night – 8/10/19
