Racing Xtravaganza Just Two Weeks Away

YORK, PA – Just two short weeks remain until Racing Xtravaganza presented by BAPS Coatings and Supplies gives local race fans a weekend full of entertainment.
Set for Saturday and Sunday, February 4-5 at the Utz Arena on the grounds of the York Fair where over 115 racing vehicles and over 50 vendors will give race fans a weekend full of pre-season
There will be so much to see and do during the two-day show for both young and old as one of the major attractions at Racing Xtravaganza will be the Kids Zone sponsored by Hickory Falls Family Entertainment Center. The Kids Zone will be open Saturday from 11am until 8pm and again Sunday from 11am until 3pm. T-Shirts (while supplies last) will be given to the kids courtesy of Kevin Quirk Racewear and goodie bags (while supplies last) courtesy of Grinestaff Enterprises.
The Tom Rumsey Seminar Room will be plenty busy both days, hosting several seminars for show attendees to visit.
Saturday seminars will be PASS/IMCA Sprint Series presented by Jim Stannard, Roger Hayden and Rod Ort; Eastern Museum of Motor Racing presented by Lynn Paxton, a Safety Seminar presented by Don Wolfe and a Susquehanna Speedway seminar presented by Kolten Gouse.
One of the Saturday’s highlights will be the Bricker’s Famous French Fries Miss Racing Xtravaganza Contest to be held on the Viper Risk Management Main Stage at 7pm.
Many area race car drivers will be on hand at the show and several are lined up to be part of the Meet and Greet on the Viper Risk Management Main Stage. Drivers scheduled for Saturday include 358 Sprint car drivers Shai Morris, Kyle Denmyer and Dalton Dietrich, Super Sportsman drivers Gregg Foster, Justin Foster and Brandon Little, late model drivers Jason Covert, Jeremy Miller and Randy Christine, Jr. and 305 Sprint car drivers Kassidy Kreitz, Jake Waters and Zach Newlin.
Sunday will be a shorter but busy day with the Tom Rumsey Seminar Room hosting a Beer Hill Gang seminar and a Sponsorship Seminar presented by Rob Ziemba and Kolten Gouse.
One of the Sunday highlights will be the Bricker’s Famous French Fries Jr. Miss Racing Xtravaganza pageant on the Viper Risk Management Main Stage. Show time is 1pm.
Drivers slated for the Meet and Greet on the Viper Risk Management Main Stage on Sunday will be 410 Sprint car drivers Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett and Brent Marks and Central PA Legend racers Mason Chaney, Lucas Montgomery and Justice Forbes.
The show concludes Sunday at 3:15pm with the ServiceMaster Clean People’s Choice Awards for Best of Show, plus Best Appearing awards for numerous types of race cars. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite race car all weekend long.
The Central PA Blood Mobile will be on hand Sunday from 10am until 2pm.
Show doors open at 10am both days at the Utz Arena. The show will close at 9pm on Saturday and concludes at 4pm Sunday.
Admission prices for Racing Xtravaganza will be Adults $12; Seniors (60 & Older) $10; Youth (ages 11-17), $10 with Kids 10 and Under Admitted Free.
