(Oct. 10, 2014) – Billy Decker of Unadilla, N.Y., and Carey Terrance of Hogansburg, N.Y., ratified their qualifying efforts just over 24 hours earlier by scoring victories in the Twin 20-lap 358-Modified heat races during NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week’s Camping World ‘Friday Night Lights’ program at the New York State Fairgrounds. SYRACUSE, N.Y. – October 10, 2014 – Friday’s qualifying rounds for the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series have spelled success for a number of drivers who have earned top starting positions for Sunday’s championship race. Jimmy Spellmon, a regular racer at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N.Y., will share the front row of Sunday’s headliner with Mike Butler of Milford, N.J., after the two placed first and second in time trials. East was clocked at 32.436 for the pole with an average speed of 110.998 while Swanson came across the line in 32.535 at 110.650. Local interest was centered on two drivers . Stewart Friesen made his debut in Silver Crown action and it was pretty auspicious.
