Jason Meltz was victorious in the Pro Stock Futures feature event on Friday afternoon at Oswego Speedway as part of Super DIRT Week XLV. The caution filled event was the product of tough track conditions, that made visibility and handling a premium. The first time winner spoke during post race media availability.

“I’ve won a couple times in Street Stocks, but this is my first win in a Pro Stock. To have it come at Oswego is pretty cool.”

Second place finisher C.D. Beacuhamp was subdued in his comments, simply stating, “My big concern is the big race. I don’t know how it’s going to be when we put 30 cars out there at the same time.”

Third place finisher David DePaulo said of the track conditions, “You can’t see in the front and the back very well. In the turns it’s okay… it’s pretty bumpy too.”

The Pro Stock 50 lap main event is scheduled for Sunday, October 9th at 12pm. Stay in touch with Dirt Track Digest for all the latest from Super DIRT Week XLV.
