Rain Postpones MjH Oilfield Wade Decker Memorial For Second Time This Season At Thunder Mountain Speedway; Event Will Now Be Run Sunday, September 14

CENTER LISLE, NY – For the second time this season, rain postponed the running of the MjH Oilfield Wade Decker Memorial at Thunder Mountain Speedway. Originally set for July 13, the second running of the special event was pushed back to Sunday (Aug. 31) by heavy rains. An almost identical forecast emerged for take No. 2. Heywood, Bruno title showdown Sunday at Airborne

SOUTH PLATTSBURGH – Defending J&S Steel Sportsman Modified champion Nick Heywood of Plattsburgh and Travis Bruno of Morrisonville will race for the 2014 track championship in Sunday’s Mike Watts Memorial headline event presented by Aaron’s/Xplo E-Z Sto/Huntley Trucking. Heywood has won back-to-back features to regain the point lead 679-672 leading into the final Airborne point race of the season. Big Diamond Speedway Presents Coal Cracker 72 Weekend

MINERSVILLE, PA - Bobby Emerich won the first ever Coal Cracker event back in 1979. Back then it was a 50 lap event. The most recent event run last season found Jeff Strunk in victory lane after 72 laps of exciting action.
