LIMALAND 2007 UPDATES
Limaland Motorsports Park is set to open April 13, 2007. The season opener will feature the EFI NRA Sprint Invaders, Professional Computer Company UMP Modifieds and Bud Thunderstocks. The three divisions will again be competing for over $32,000.00 in point fund money with the Limaland champions receiving $4000.00 in the sprints, $3000.00 in the modifieds and $2000.00 to the stock champion.
Several special events will be featured during the 2007 season with appearances by the World of Outlaws Sprints, All-Star Sprints, NRA Sprint Invaders, USAC Ford Focus Midgets and ALMS Late Models. A complete schedule as well as future updates can be found at www.limaland.com .
The 2007 season will mark the tenth year of the University of Northwestern Ohio's ownership of Limaland and seventy-two years of racing action at the famed quarter mile high-banked dirt track.
Ticket prices for the 2007 season will remain the same as 2006 in an effort to allow fans, teams and their families continue to enjoy the affordable weekly race events. As always, children, 10 and under, will be admitted in for free at all race events on the spectator side grandstands.
Also, Limaland and Eldora Speedway have again joined together to provide a unified set of stock car rules for the upcoming season. The only minor difference is Eldora will allow rear spoilers, while they will not be permitted in use at Limaland. Teams may view the 2007 rules at the respective websites of both tracks: Limaland (www.limaland.com ) and Eldora (www.eldoraspeedway.com ).
Limaland Motorsports Park is proud to announce the following 2007 Race Division Sponsors: Elwer Fence 360 Sprints, Professional Computer Company (PCC) Modifieds and Bud Thunderstocks. McDonalds returns as the Dash for Cash sponsor and Smith Boughan as the Cool Move sponsor |
