A-Verdi Storage Containers to Sponsor 2007 King of CNY with ASCS Patriots
Rich Vleck, TULSA, Okla. (February 13, 2007)- The ASCS Patriots have always run events in Central New York, races that have been crucial to determining the champion at the end of the year. In 2007, A-Verdi Storage Containers is helping to make these races even more thrilling!
For the first time in the five-year history of the Patriots, there will be a point fund created for only certain races run in the season. These seven events, at four different racetracks, all take place in Central New York, and will be some of the most highly sought races to win in 2007.
Points will be tabulated from all seven of the events at Fulton, Rolling Wheels, Canandaigua and Cayuga County, with the top-five in overall points receiving their slice of the point fund at the end of the year.
Chuck Hebing, 2006 ASCS Patriot Champion, was the informal King of CNY last year, winning all three Patriot races in CNY last year. This year he is likely to be strong once again, but there are a host of others that will challenge him for the Crown.
It was announced earlier this week that this series would also feature a special set of t-shirts, made by ASI Sportswear. Expect these shirts to be available in March and throughout the 2007, at the all-new ASCS Patriots Merchandise Outlet at each 2007 event.
Its a tremendous partnership with a solid CNY company coming on board at these solid CNY tracks, noted ASCS Director Mike Emhof.
Emhof has worked with A-Verdi for years with the Central New York Mini Sprints, in which Joe Verdi and his company has been the title sponsor for a number of years, including 2007.
Its a continuing effort with Mike and CNYMS, said Verdi. Weve had great years in the past, and I think ASCS is only going to build on that. There is a lot of potential for the both of us on this deal, as well as for this series to grow.

Look for folks from A-Verdi at a number of the ASCS Patriot events in 2007, including the July 29 race at Cayuga County, and at Fulton Speedway on September 8, where they will present the King of CNY.
