Rich Vleck, Tulsa, Okla. (February 15, 2007) - With the majority of the 2007 Associate Sponsors finalized for the ASCS Patriots, it is now time to announce those companies that will also be supporting racing this season with contingency awards. Negotiations are on going with many other top named company’s to be announced soon.
The following eight companies are the first group of those to supply certificates nightly to each driver, as well as contribute to the awards total at the year-end banquet.
Bobcat of Buffalo has been title sponsor for the ASCS Patriots for the past few years; however this season, they will be the presenting sponsor for the nightly consolation event. The winner of the Bobcat of Buffalo B-Main will receive a cash award in addition to advancing to the feature event. The driver that moves up the most spots in each A-Main will receive this award, as well as earn valuable points towards the third annual season-long Gater Racing News Hard Charger of the Season Award. KSE will help to present the champion in 2007, with a power steering pump going to the driver that moves up the most positions over the course of the season. Rod End will also reward the top-15 in total points at the year-end Awards Banquet. Visit their website at http://www.rodendsupply.com/.
Diversified Machine Inc. has been a long time supporter of the Patriots and ASCS in general, 2007 is no different. The nightly DMI certificate will be given to the driver that finishes one spot away from a transfer position, just missing out on getting into the A-Main. Because this driver misses out on starting at the rear end of the A-Main, the certificate from DMI will be good towards the purchase of a Bull Dog Rear End. Pancho’s Racing Products will team up with the ASCS Patriots for the first time this year as well. Look for this award to be highly contested each night with at least three regulars using J&J’s on the 2007 tour. To find them on the web, log onto http://www.panchosracingproducts.com/.
ASI Sportswear is already an associate sponsor with the Patriots in 2007, but they will also be rewarding one driver per night. There website is http://www.asiwear.com/.
This is just the tip of iceberg of the sponsors that will be on board with the ASCS Patriots in 2007. Look for the next batch of goodies to come out of the oven in a few weeks as things continue to snowball (not hard to do in the northeast) as the days count down towards the season opener at the Fulton Speedway on May 5.
