ASCS SOD Open House March 17th
T.J. Buffenbarger, TULSA, Okla. (March 2, 2007) - The Engine Pro ASCS Sprints on Dirt presented by Victor Reinz are proud to announce the series’ 2007 Open House scheduled for Saturday, March 17, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Plant and Soil Sciences Building Conservatory located on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
The meeting is an opportunity for teams and officials to visit before the season begins and inform everyone on the changes for 2007. Memberships, rulebooks and decals will be available for race teams along with other information about the upcoming campaign.
The Conservatory is located east of US 127 at the Trowbridge Road exit (Exit 9). From US 127, travel east on Trowbridge Road, cross Harrison Avenue and stay on Trowbridge until the first traffic circle and turn right (east) on Wilson Road. Take Wilson Road east, cross Farm Lane and turn right (south) on Bogue Street. Once on Bogue Street, the Conservatory is on the right side of the road before the railroad tracks.
Parking is available either in the Children’s Garden or across the street in the Veterinary Building Parking. The Conservatory is a glass building attached to the back of the Plant and Soil Science Building.
The 2007 season marks the 28th consecutive year of Sprints on Dirt racing action throughout the Michigan area and beyond, with the ASCS Sprints on Dirt currently slated to contest 20 point events at ten different tracks throughout Michigan and Canada.
