Be looking for the black & white #5 2007 GRT Monte Carlo of Jon Mitchell as he "AMP's it up" with us for available races on his schedule for the 2007-racing season. PTS Racing Engines power his car. Jon has been driving for 10 years total. His first two years was in a modified that led to a Stateline Speedway 1997 IMCA Modified Points Championship. To date his most memorable moment has been winning the $5000 2006 Memorial Day Shoot out at Monticello Speedway.
Jon stays busy doing sheetmetal bodies at GRT. He doesn't have a favorite track because he likes all he has run on. Jon got started in racing being around Skeet Amason when he drove for Jon's father, Kenneth Mitchell of Kenneth's High Performance in Texarkana, Arkansas in the early 90's.
