Modifications made to 2007 Indee Open Series rules

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa - To better accommodate those planning to participate in the 2007 Indee Open Series, rules changes have been made in two series divisions.

In the late model division, both the I.M.C.A. Hoosier and D-55 Hoosier tires will be allowed, however no grinding, grooving or siping will be allowed. Those using the McCreary EC-2 tires may grind, groove or sipe their tires. Drivers competing with I.M.C.A. spec motors will be allowed to run the open carburetor, while all other motors will require the use of the 390 carburetor.

In modifieds, quick change rearends will be allowed. It will be determined later if a weight penalty will be necessary for those running the quick changes.

For up-to-date rules and schedule information, please visit the track web site at www.independencemotorspeedway.com.
