SPEEDWAY LAUNCHES IT’S
40th ANNIVERSARY SEASON SCHEDULE
Local race enthusiasts made their way to Crabby Joe’s – Belleville’s Best Darn Sports Bar on Saturday March 10th to get a look at the 2007 Race Season Schedule and a “sneak peek” at some of the cars that will hit the 1/3 mile clay oval this season.
Dirt Track Digest’s Promoter of the Year, Mark Rinaldi of Brighton Speedway was pleased to announce the schedule from the Coca Cola Full Throttle Season opener on May 5th to the Lucas Oil 358 Applefest Shootout presented by Imagefactor.ca on September 22nd. The return of favourites like the Southern Ontario Sprints, School Bus Races and the Labour Day Classic Weekend, combined with new events like the 10 Pin Enduro Car Bowling, the racing of Mini Vans, and new Holiday Inn $5.00 Fridays, illustrates that this season is set to be a true celebration of 40 years of grassroots motorsport racing in Northumberland County.
In keeping with the management team’s commitment to quality family entertainment the return of the Kid’s Club sponsored by Tim Horton’s will keep the kids wanting to return week in and week out. Everyone will want to bring them because the price at the gate has dropped for the season. A family can enter the races on a regular night for $20.00, which includes a family sized popcorn. An affordable action packed, pedal to the metal racing filled night out for everyone.
For more information and a complete schedule be sure to visit www.brightonspeedway.com. Schedules will also be available at local malls throughout the months of March and April as the drivers put their cars on display and fans have their chance to win a Season’s Pass.
