Brighton Speedway Announces 40th Anniversary Salute to Fans!!
To kick off the 40th Anniversary Season at Brighton Speedway, and to say thank you to grass root, motor sport racing fans for their support, staff and management are happy to announce special pricing for the 2007 season. It is the fans that have made it possible for the Speedway to stay in operation for 40 years, and it is because of their regular attendance that the dirt still flies at the most affordable family entertainment destination in the Northumberland and Quinte Areas.
Fans will be able to come out and enjoy a complete race program during 2007 for the low price of $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for youths and seniors and $2.00 for children 7 – 12. As always children 6 and under are free. The 2007 family pass is priced right at $20.00 which allows two adults, and 2 children under 16 into an action packed night of racing with a free family sized popcorn. “I haven’t seen prices this low since I was in high school and working at the track as a flag man” said promoter Mark Rinaldi.
Not only will fans get a price break on the regularly scheduled complete race programs featuring Brighton Speedway’s 5 classes, but prices have also been dropped for the 6 visits that the always well received Southern Ontario Sprints make to the 1/3rd mile clay oval. Adult tickets will be $18.00, $16.00 for youths and seniors, $4.00 for children 7 to 12 and a family pass will be $45.00, a reasonable price for adding more racing action to the docket.
To start off the quality priced season, the first race event of the year is scheduled for May 5th, 2007 and admission is only $2.00 with a non-perishable food donation toward the local food banks. Green flag flies at 7:00pm.
Be sure to pick up a copy of the 2007 schedule and get a sneak preview of some of the 2007 cars as drivers and their cars make appearances in the Frontenac Mall in Kingston, March 22nd to 24th, the Quinte Mall in Belleville, March 26th to April 1st and the Northumberland Mall in Cobourg, April 2nd to April 7th.
