Thunder Mountain Speedway Signs Class Sponsors

Posted by National Editor  |  03/19/07

Thunder Mountain Speedway promoter Dick Stark has been working feverishly to finalize track sponsors for the upcoming season. Don’s Automotive Mall solidified their commitment to racing in the southern tier by accepting class sponsorship status of the big block Modifieds. Each time this class is referred to, it will be the “Don’s Automotive Mall big block Modifieds.” Don’s Automotive Mall is located on Colesville Rd in Binghamton, New York. For over a half of century Don’s has been supplying recycled automotive parts to the commercial, wholesale and retail customers in the southern tier of New York and northern tier of Pennsylvania. They utilize a combination of tested, refurbished and rebuilt parts inventory. Their proud reputation is a result of hard work and attention to detail where every customer’s need is seen to a successful completion. Their steady growth can be attributed to satisfied customers through competitive pricing, a large inventory, parts availability, and a dedicated and knowledgeable staff.

The Sportsman division has a new class sponsor as well. Autoworks, located on route 366 (Dryden Rd.) near Ithaca, New York, will occupy that position. George and Karyn Rushlow, and the entire staff at Autoworks strive to make their customers number one. Autoworks specializes in all phases of automotive repair. Their specialty is Honda, Acura, Chrysler and Jeep, but they are certainly not limited to those manufacturers. There is a free shuttle service available for customers, as well as towing and recovery. Autoworks reputation is built on fast, friendly, affordable service, where your automobile’s problem is solved the first time around. Other class sponsors are being sought after, but as of yet, the Hurricane Street Stocks, Road Warriors, and Road Bandits remain available to any interested parties. With the season fast approaching, attention will shift to preparing for April 14th’s test and tune day at Thunder Mountain Speedway.

The interest from racers preparing to make Thunder Mountain Speedway their home track in 2007 has been unbelievable. Many teams will be traveling from the states of Pennsylvania, and New Jersey to do battle with the New York based teams. It looks to be a very interesting season that is taking shape. The addition of the T-3 All Star Series, and the “King of the Mountain” Modified specials, as well as the Short Track Supernationals to the schedule, have peaked interest at the lightening fast 3/8 mile clay oval. Thunder Mountain’s already top notch field loks to be expanded to even greater numbers, so it should be a total mystery as to who will step–up to the forefront of the season point battle. Stay tuned for developing news, and all the great things happening at Thunder Mountain Speedway. Can’t you just FEEL THE RUMBLE, and HEAR THE ROAR?
