LaFargeville, NY – Billy and Charlie Caprara have come to realize that in order to attract the best in each division, including the Sportsman division, you need to up the ante and that’s exactly what they have done, by offering more big dollar races.
The Sportsman division will have a $600 check waiting for them at the start/finish line at each weekly race this year at Caprara’s Can Am. “That just happens to be more than any other track is paying to win,” Race Director Chip Burdick said.
The big pay day’s start at the drop of the season’s first checkered flag on April 14th. The Sportsman will run Twin 20 feature events and each Sportsman feature winner will collect a $600 check.
The following week the Sportsman division will be the center of attention at the “Nasty Track of the North,” as they run for a huge $1,000 to win main event.
In the month of May (19th) the Sportsman pilots will again take on the Can Am clay as another $1,000 to win pay day is on the line. Then on May (26) another big pay day awaits as $800 is up for grabs, for the winners effort.
As the season gets into full swing, the Sportsman demons will vie for three events that each pay a huge $1,000 to win. Mark your calendars for June 9th, August 25th and September 8th.
In the month of September (14th) and October (3rd) the DIRT Sportsman Super DIRT Series makes a visit to the North Country where the outsiders invade the “Nasty Track of the North”, as they try to steal the $1,000 check that Billy and Charlie Caprara have put on the line for the winner.
