Circle K to Host Giant Autograph Party
On Final Night of the Circle K Colossal 100
CONCORD, N.C. (April 3, 2007) - The final night of the Circle K
Colossal 100 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday,
April
21, will begin with the Circle K Pit Party where the world's top dirt
late
model drivers will greet fans and sign autographs.
Hosted by Circle K, the 90-minute pit party starts at 4:30 p.m. and
will take place on the concourse under the main grandstand. All drivers
participating in the final night of the $50,000-to-win late model
spectacular are required to be on hand to meet the fans.
In order to gain admission to the Circle K Pit Party, fans must
present an event ticket along with an empty can of Full Throttle energy
drink, which can be purchased at any area Circle K store. Once inside
the
pit party, each fan will receive a limited edition Circle K Colossal
100
event poster.
The 100-car entry list for the April 20-21 Circle K Colossal 100
includes defending event winner Scott Bloomquist and 360 OTC World of
Outlaws champion Tim McCreadie along with veterans Billy Moyer, Donnie
Moran, Steve Francis, Shannon Babb and Earl Pearson Jr.
The Friday night portion of the Circle K Colossal 100 will feature
group time trials and 10 heat races. The top two finishers in each heat
will
secure a spot in the 100-lap finale and a draw will determine the
starting
lineup.
Saturday night's program begins with the pit party and the on-track
action includes at least four additional qualifying races prior to the
main
event. The race is part of the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model
Series,
but The Dirt Track's traditional format, including the extremely
popular
double-file restarts, will be utilized.
If purchased in advance, reserved tickets for both Friday and
Saturday nights are $49 for adults and $19 for children ages 12 and
under.
Two-day pit passes are $60 in advance.
