URC'S REAL DEAL TO OPEN 60TH SEASON AT BRIDGEPORT SATURDAY, APRIL 14TH
For competitors of the URC Sprint Series, a special Garage Sale Page has been added to the Competitors Page of the United Racing Company website. The Garage Sale Page is available to URC competitors who have racing equipment to sell. With the Bar's Leaks URC opener just ten days away, excitement is building for the CnB Mushrooms 25 lap main event that will kickoff the 60th season of URC. CnB Mushrooms has bumped up the total purse which includes the winner earning a hefty $2,500. While some may try to imitate URC, fans should count on URC's Real Deal Tour to be in full force at the Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, April 14. No smoke and mirrors, no false promises, it's URC all the way at the Bridgeport Speedway. Race time is set for 6 PM. All URC events pay a minimum of $200 to take the green flag.
The URC Bar's Leaks 60th Anniversary Series is offering one of the most competitive seasons ever. Top contenders include Greg Coverdale in his new ride with long time car owner Kenny Eldreth. Coverdale, a former champion and winner of forty-seven URC events will be a front runner for the championship.
Brian Seidel and the Bill Gallagher #5g are set for a full charge with title honors in their plans. Twelve time URC feature winner Kevin Welsh of Far Hills, NJ will be in the hunt as well. Trevor Lewis of Upper Black Eddy, PA will be part of the Scott McClaren three car team and is still another title contender.
Other URC Real Deal Tour contenders include Ed Aikin, Dave Ely, Brook Weibley, Kramer Williamson, Michael Carber and Scott Pursell just to name a few. Or course, all eyes will be on Curt Michael and the Palladino #99 as Curt chases his fourth consecutive URC Championship title in 2007.
