Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team will travel to Skyline Speedway in Ohio on Friday night for a local late model show. Then on Saturday Steve and the team will travel to Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland MD for a MACS sanctioned event paying $5,000 to win. The 2007 East Bay Winternationals feature winner will compete on familiar tracks this weekend in hopes of visiting victory lane again in 2007.
Steve and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team competed at Brownstown
Speedway in Brownstown IN this past weekend in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event. The 75-lap feature event paid $10,000 to win and drew 72
competitors at the historical venue. Steve struggled in qualifying and started deep in his heat race. Steve then competed in the consolation race only to come up short by a few spots to transfer to the feature. "We were off just enough each time on the track that we missed transferring to the feature. We'll regroup and get after again this weekend at tracks that we have had some success at in the past", stated Steve.
