We want families to make Orange County Fair Speedway a Saturday night habit, said Peter Reynolds, the Marketing, Media, Public and Community Relations head of the venerable Middletown, New York race track.Thats why we have changed the ticket price structure for the 2007 racing season.
Beginning with Opening Night, Saturday, April 21, children 12 years old and under will be admitted free to the General Admission areas. Except for Special Events, children 12 and under sitting in the Reserved Seating area will be charged $5.00.
General Admission youth tickets, for students 13 through 17, remain $10.00 except for special events. Seniors age 60 and up will get $2.00 off General Admission tickets for weekly events, and $5.00 off General Admission for Special Events. Adult General Admissions are $13.00 or $15.00 depending on the schedule of events. Reserved seating is an additional $2.00. Parking on the Fairgrounds remains free.
Ticket prices in the unique Drive-In area are the same as General Admission, plus $1.00 for parking. The parking fee goes towards the Orange County Fair Speedway Drivers Point Fund.
2007 Season Passes are also available: Adults, $350.00; Seniors, $250; Youth, $180; Children in the Reserved Seating, $80.00. Pit Passes for DIRTcar Racing members will be $25; non-members $35.00. A Season Pit Pass for DIRT members is $500.00.
Orange County Fair Speedway, one of the oldest automobile race tracks in the country, has presented weekly stock car races continuously since 1950. The Opening Night, April 21 program includes DIRTcar Racing Big-Block Modified, 358-Modified, Sportsman, Pro Stock and Pure Stock racing divisions.
