Fultonville, NY: The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park has changed the line up of the scheduled April 15th practice session. The scheduled Enduro, Figure 8 and Powder Puff events have been postponed to later dates. Practice for any division will still take place.
I feel the decision to streamline practice day is in the best interest of both the drivers and fans track Race Director Toby LaGrange said. LaGrange continued Due to the cooler than normal weather, eliminating the three races will allow our drivers to get more practice time.
The Powder Puff Series will now kick off on Sunday May 20th with the Figure 8 series event moving to Sunday August 19th. The Enduro event will now be held on Sunday July 29th.
All rookie drivers are encouraged to attend the April 15th practice as a special rookie only practice session will be held. Drivers will receive track time by themselves, allowing them to get comfortable with their new rides before taking the track with experienced division racers.
With a mid week storm predicted, a final decision on running the April 15th practice will be made by mid-day Saturday. In the event that racing is given a green light at that time and rain moves in on Sunday - the decision to call the show will be made by 10:00 am.
