MUSEUM OFFERS “THE GHOSTS OF JUNGLE PARK” FOR SALE

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (April 11, 2007) - The newly released 314-page book, “The Ghosts of Jungle Park”, by historian Tom W. Williams, is now available through the non-profit National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville and its on-line museum store at www.sprintcarstuff.com. The book, whose text is complemented by many photos and statistics from the historic half-mile dirt track in Rockville, Indiana, retails for forty dollars,

According to executive director Thomas J. Schmeh, “It is exciting to be able to offer a book such as this in our museum store, as it absolutely fulfills our mission of educating today’s fans about the rich history and heritage of sprint car racing. Tom Williams has done a magnificent job of documenting the history, myth and legend of one of America’s most storied dirt tracks. It also fits well with our offering of artist Ralph Steele’s print ‘The Rim Riders at Jungle Park’, which retails for just thirty dollars.”

Store items can also be purchased by calling the museum toll-free at 1-800-874-4488 or by stopping in during regular business hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m., weekdays; Noon – 5 p.m. weekends).
