VERNON, NY- Due to the unforgiving weather conditions that have settled into the Central New York region, Utica-Rome Speedway management has once again been forced to postpone the planned Wednesday night Open House practice session.
Originally scheduled for Sunday April 15 until Mother Nature force a postponement until Wednesday April 18, the unsettled weather pattern that has settled over the region and saturated the speedway grounds has once again delayed the open practice session. The session is now scheduled to run on Friday April 20. Gates will at 4 p.m. with on track practice beginning at 5 p.m. and running until 9 p.m. All classes are welcome and pit admission is just $10. The grandstands are open to the public at no charge.
Prior to the Open House practice this Friday, Romanos Driving School will be in session during the afternoon hours. Anyone still interested in attending can call Mike Romano at (518) 762-1333.
