Eldora entries in the mail.
ROSSBURG, OH (May 2) -- Entry blanks were release this week’s for Eldora Speedway’s highest paying Late Model event of the year - the 13th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. The lucrative two-day event (June 8 & 9) will again offer $100,000 to the winner of the 100 lap chase around Eldora’s fabled one-half mile clay oval. Scott Bloomquist is the defending champion.
As in the past, the event will kick off on Friday evening (June 8) with a quick practice session, followed immediately by the time trial runs to determine the heat race line-ups for Saturday’s busy agenda.
On Saturday (June 9), six heat races will find the top three finishes from each transferring to the 100-lap finale, while finishers four through six go into the B-Main and finishers 7-10 go into the C-Main.
Twenty-four starters will be awarded starting spots in the Dream - 18 from the heat races, and 4 from the B-Main; with the final two spots being reserved for the quickest two drivers from time trials that didn’t advance through their qualifying heat races.
