THE “OFFICIAL CHICKEN WING” OF LOWE’S MOTOR SPEEDWAY: QUAKER STEAK & LUBE® A PERFECT FIT!
SHARON, Pa. (May 2) -- Culinary historians have disputed the origin of the chicken wing for dozens of years. Some credit a Texas restaurateur for devising the concoction in an attempt to utilize more chicken parts, while others have pointed to Teressa Bellissimo, who fed her son and his friends a late snack in 1964 and devised a hot sauce recipe for her chicken wings and dipping sauce to cut the heat.
Nonetheless, while there remains a never-ending argument about the roots of the chicken wing, there is no debate about who perfected them: Quaker Steak & Lube®, the Award-Winning automotive-themed restaurant chain.
Speaking of perfect, Quaker Steak & Lube® is entering its fourth year as the Official Chicken Wings of Lowe’s Motor Speedway -- a perfect combination for race fans with a penchant for great racing and great food.
“Quaker Steak & Lube® has enjoyed a great partnership with Lowe’s Motor Speedway,” said Marla Pieton, Director of Franchise Marketing for Quaker Steak & Lube®. “People of all ages have always been fascinated with auto racing so this is a perfect fit for Quaker Steak & Lube® restaurants.
