BLOOMFIELD WASHED OUT FOR MAY 4
BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (May 4) – Due to extremely wet conditions, officials at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway have canceled the races for Friday, May 4.
Action will continue next Friday, May 11, at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway with the USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series plus the 2007 season debut of the Mid America 305 Winged Sprint Cars. The event will also serve as the season opener for the USRA Modifieds. Also on the racing card will be the USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Hornets.
Gates will open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7. Grandstand admission will be $9 for adults and $7 for juniors (ages 12-17) and seniors (age 62 and older). Kids 11 and under get in for FREE. Pit passes will be $20.
