LEWIS IS ON THE MONEY, CARBER IS GETTING CLOSE. . . .
URC SPRINTS HEAD TO DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY SATURDAY, MAY 12

Race four of the URC Bar's Leaks Sprint Series will invade the Delaware International Speedway on Saturday night, May 12. On top of the list of entries is point leader Trevor Lewis of Upper Black Eddy, PA. Although Lewis has not won a feature event through the first three events, he is ever so close, coming off a runner-up finish at the New Egypt Speedway on April 28. Consistent finishes have Lewis and car owner Scott McClaren on top of the point chase. It's early and there is still a long season ahead. Also turning heads in the early going in Michael Carber of Piperville, PA and driver of the Guy Howie #19H. Carber ranks eighth in points, not bad considering mechanical problems kept him from qualifying at the URC opener. In fact, this newly formed team has shown signs of strength as work out the early season bugs.

After just three URC events, there has been three different winners and three different point leaders and that could all change when URC storms the state of Delaware in full force on Saturday night, May 12 at Charlie Cathell's Delaware International Speedway.

Kevin Welsh of Far Hills, NJ is on the bubble to be URC's first driver to a repeat winner and back-to-back feature winner in 2007. Kevin and his wife Ashley became parents this week, with the birth of their baby girl, Kaley Arnett on May 1st.

Joining Welsh, Lewis and Carber in the chase for the $2,000 first prize is Brian Seidel, Ed Aikin, Brook Weibley, Jason Clauss, Mark Bitner, Jimmy Martin, Mares Stellfox, Curt Michael, Chris Coyle, J.J. Grasso, Robbie Stillwaggon, Justin Collett and Kramer Williamson just to name a few of the expected entries.

Following the URC Bar's Leaks event at Delaware International Speedway, the URC Sprints will head to the Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday night, May 19 for the Jack Gunn Memorial $3,000 to win Challenge event. The URC Sprints and the weekly Selinsgrove 358 sprints will go head-to-head with more then $19,000 in cash prize money on the line.
