DuPont Tyvek Presents 2007 Keystone Cup Sprint Series May 23 to May 28

The DuPont Tyvek 2007 Keystone Cup Sprint Series will feature six consecutive nights of racing for the 410 Sprints and it all kicks off at the Grandview Speedway on Wednesday night, May 23 and continues through Monday, May 28 at the Port Royal Speedway. Each event will offer a minimum of $5,000 to win, except Grandview Speedway where the winners share will be $10,000 for the victory in the 35 lap main event.

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series at Grandview Speedway will open the Keystone Cup Series on Wednesday, May 23. The top drivers of the PA Posse will gather on the hill for this event and they'll have company! This event is sanctioned by the world famous World of Outlaws so the roster will be rich in talent.

The line-up will include Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, Jeff Shepard, Mark Smith, Lucas Wolfe, Alan Cole and Doug Esh joined by Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz, Danny Lasoski, Daryn Pittman, Joey Saldana, Jack Haudenschild, Tim Shaffer and Jason Sides just to name a few. Following the Thunder Series DuPont Tyvek Keystone Cup opener, the PA Posse will head to the Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville, PA on Thursday, May 24th. The popular three-eighth mile clay oval will offer a $5,000 payday to the winner of the 30 lap feature event and racing action will get underway at 7:30 PM. The PA Posse will then return home to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA on Friday night, May 25. Another $5,000 pay check will be on the line for that nights feature winner. Race time is 8 PM. Get all the details at: www.williamsgrove.com.

The Saturday night outing is always a big one as the Keystone Cup Series invades the Lincoln Speedway on May 26. Race time is set for 7 PM and more information is available at: www.lincolnspeedway.com.

Race five of the Keystone Cup Sprint Series will move to the Selinsgrove Speedway on Sunday night, May 27. 7 PM is the starting time for this event that will take place at one of the fastest speedways in the country. The DuPont Tyvek 2007 Keystone Cup Sprint Series is a rich paying tune-up to the 17th Annual Cindy Rowe Auto Glass Pennsylvania Sprint Speed Week Series. A total purse of $250,000 will be paid out across the Series that opens on Saturday, June 30 and continues through Sunday, July 8. In the sixteen year history of the Speed Week Series, 105 events were presented at eleven tracks producing nineteen different Speed Week feature winners. Fred Rahmer is the master of the Speed Week Series winning twenty-eight features and ten championships.
