ELDORA & LIMALAND TEAM UP FOR BIG DOUBLE PLAY WEEKEND
ROSSBURG, OH (May 14) -- In a continued display of cooperation, over $5,000 in point fund money has been posted for two nights of racing at Ohios Limaland Motorsports Park and Eldora Speedway as part of their annual Double Play weekend, June 15 and 16.
Sponsored in part by the University of Northwestern Ohio (Lima, Ohio), the monies will be shared equally between the NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders, UMP (United Midwestern Promoters) Modifieds and Stock Cars that will run back to back nights on the contrasting facilities. Both are dirt surfaced, with Limaland being one-quarter mile in size and Eldora one-half mile.
Each of the divisional champions following the two nights of racing will receive a $1,000 cash prize, with the top ten drivers all sharing in the point fund.
