Pennsylvania Posse Looks to Stop the Outlaws at Opening Thunder on the Hill Show Wednesday, May 23rd at Grandview Speedway.

With the Central Pennsylvania season now in full swing, the World of
Outlaws and the Pennsylvania Posse will head to Grandview Speedway to
tackle the high banked 1/3rd mile oval. With one of the largest
followings in several years, the World of Outlaws will send over 20 of
the worlds best sprint car drivers to the Bechtelsville dirt oval for
the opening of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series on
Wednesday May 23rd. The Outlaws have high hopes of keeping the Posse
out of victory lane.

Defending World of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz will lead the Outlaws
back to Grandview where he claimed last year's victory in a non-stop,
35-lap shootout that saw Schatz set a new track record in the process.
20-time World of Outlaw Champion Steve Kinser won at Grandview in 2003,
2004, and 2005 and will be looking to regain the top spot in 2007.

Joining Schatz and Kinser will be the "Brownsburg Bullet" Joey Saldana
who has been on fire this season in the Kasey Kahne owned sprint car.
Saldana has claimed 5 A-Main wins this year and is looking to claim his
first Outlaws win at Grandview. Daryn Pittman, Craig Dollansky, and Jac
Haudenschild also claimed top 5 finishes in last year's race and have
been fast on the tour lately. Joining them will be Danny Lasoski, Jason
Meyers, Tim Kaeding, Jason Solwold, Paul McMahan, Kerry Madsen, Jason
Sides, and a host of others as the World of Outlaws look to keep the
loot.

The Pennsylvania season suffered through many early season rainouts, but
when the season finally got going, the racing action has been nothing
less than stellar. The competition has been closer than ever with no
driver being able to dominate.

This year, several Central PA speedways have joined together to form the
first annual Keystone Cup Sprint Series. The World of Outlaws race will
kick off the inaugural series which will consist of 6 nights of racing
for the PA Posse. Lance DeWease and Fred Rahmer are 2nd and 3rd
respectively on the all-time win list at Grandview in the NAPA Thunder
on the Hill Series and are once again the two drivers to beat. Greg
Hodnett has joined the Jim and Sandy Kline team this season and was the
highest finishing Posse member against the Outlaws last year at
Grandview. The Posse is expected to be out in full force for this event
with Doug Esh, Mike Erdley, Lucas Wolfe, Brian Leppo, Kevin Nouse, Brian
Montieth, and Mark Smith being just a few of the expected entrants. The
May 23rd World of Outlaws race will also feature the return of the "Jet"
Jeff Shepard to the high banks of Grandview. Jeff has returned to the
seat of the John and Peewee Zematis ZEMCO #1 and is always a threat to
win.

COMDIAL Communications, a long time supporter of the NAPA Thunder on the
Hill Series, will post $200 to the driver who posts the fastest lap in
time trials. The current track record is held by Sean Michael which
featured a blistering 11.533 set on May 25, 2002. Jim Gallagher of
COMDIAL will be involved with all the 2007 Thunder shows and has been
known to throw in a few surprises.
