ED AIKIN TOPS URC COMPETITORS IN 2007 BAR's LEAKS POINT CHASE
Ed Aikin of Lincoln University, PA now leads the Bar's Leaks URC Sprint
Series point chase after five events in 2007. Five different drivers
have found the URC win circle, with Dave Calaman of Carlisle, PA
becoming URC's most recent winner of 2007. Calaman won the $3,500 to
win Jack Gunn Memorial on Saturday night at the Selinsgrove Speedway.
Although Aikin has not found victory lane as yet this season, he is
knocking on the door. Aiken now leads the URC season long point chase
with 537 points over Justin Collett with 511 points. Making up the top
five are Brian Seidel 487, Curt Michael 472 and Chris Coyle is fifth
with 438 points.
Hot off a runner-up finish at the Selinsgrove Speedway, Kramer
Williamson now leads the Valley Forge Inc. Pennsylvania Sprint Series.
This Series is one of three mini-point series within URC. Williamson
has 124 points to his credit followed by Ed Aikin with 116, Curt Michael
100, Jason Clauss 96 and Davey Sammons is fifth with 89 points.
Justin Collett leads the Taylor & Messick Delaware State Sprint Series
as Trevor Lewis leads the Fred's Trailer Parts New Series.
