Rain Ends Racing Action Early

Racing action was underway on Saturday night with all five classes in action. After completion of two classes of heat races the rains rolled into the speedway. An attempt to roll the track back in to continue racing action was halted with another brief shower.
Racing at the Southern Minnesota Speedplant continues next weekend with the Greenway Southern Minnesota Spring Challenge with the United State Modified Touring Series on hand for a $2,000 to win show as drivers from all over the Midwest verge on the highbanks to try and take home the top prize. Also on the card will be the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds racing for $300 to win and the WISSOTA Super Stocks racing for $500 to win.
Also coming up on the racing schedule is the annual Gopher 50 Late Model race on Thursday June 14th with the World of Outlaw Late Model Series racing for $10,000 to win.
