Syracuse.com to present Family Autograph Night This Saturday May 26 at Fulton Speedway

FULTON, NY – Syracuse.com will present the DIRTcar racing action and entertainment this Saturday May 26 at Fulton Speedway on Family Autograph Night. Scheduled to compete on the fast 3/8-mile will be the DIRTcar Modfieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman, DIRTcar Pro Stocks, UMP Street Stocks, and 4-Cylinder Super Stocks. The Stephane LaFrance Trick Race Products Exhibition car will also be on hand for a demonstration. Race time at the historic Oswego County track is set for 7pm.

Fans of all ages will be able to participate in the Family Autograph session this Saturday night. At the conclusion of all the qualifying events, all cars and drivers will be invited out to the front stretch of the track. At that times fans will be able to go out and meet their favorite drivers, take pictures, obtain autographs and receive plenty of giveaways

Action has been intense in the headline DIRTcar Modified division with Dale Planck and Brian Weaver winning the two events to date. Challenging for their first wins of 2007 in this Saturday’s huge 35-lap event will be Jimmy Phelps, Alan Johnson, Scott Prentice, Dan Vauter, Tom Sears, Tim Sears, Kevin Bates, Kenny Stafford, Sean Beardsley, Vinnie Vitale, and many more.

Three different winners have visited victory lane in the DIRTcar Sportsman ranks, with Chris Hile, Sammy Reakes IV, and defending champion Shawn Donath taking home the wins. John Pietrowicz, Rob Hile, Jeremy Pitcher, Mark Davison, Gregg Carner, and Matt Hulsizer are just some of the other names looking for glory this Saturday. The Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman class of beginning drivers is competitive as ever with Laslow Howiefeld, Sean McCarthy, Timmy Sears Jr., Brad Godshalk, and Eddie Grant.

Jason Parkhurst has two feature wins to date in the DIRTcar Pro Stock division, with Billy Clark Jr. winning the third event. Dale Guernsey, Dick Parkhurst, Dave Briggs, Jack Terrell, and Rob Seavy are all knocking on the door for victory. In the exciting UMP Street/Pure Stock ranks, Dave Mannise has one early season win over Dan Hofmann Sr., Andy Fisk, Chuck Cushman, and Steve Woodworth.

Admission prices this Saturday May 26 at Fulton Speedway on Syracuse.com are $12 for Adults, $5 for Ages 10-14, and children 9 and under are free of charge with a paid adult. Pit admission is $20 for DIRT/IMCA Members and $25 for Non-Members.
